So this past weekend I was privileged enough to be invited up to DCP's house in the Vail area for a barbecue and to watch the new Absinthe Movie premiere showing at the Vilar Center in Beaver Creek. It was a good time with tunes jamming, hot dogs and burgers, new people to meet and of course watching an awesome snowboard film to cap the day. All in all, it was a sweet trip and I wish I was still on the road but unfortunately had to get back to work and school. Hopefully though, if all goes well this fall, I will be looking at a winter packed full of pow turns. Just gotta stay the course right now until the snow starts falling.

Autumn to Ashes

Well it's the end of September now, and the weather is starting to get cold. With the cold comes some changes. Recently we have been having a spider convention at our house thanks to the colder temps and extra's not too fun walking up the stairs half asleep and seeing a huge ass wolf spider staring back at you. But this happens i guess, I remember my buddy Tim used to live in the basement of his parents house as kids, and it was one of those cold, dark rooms with no windows, which was good for staying up till 5 or 6 am, but bad when it came to spiders. Anyways, fall is getting close and with that I believe we are going to have an early and big winter season.
